In the case of workshops, exemptions only apply when there is no current or anticipated energy consumption associated with heating or cooling intended for human comfort.
In other words, if the workshop has installed or plans to install air conditioning, an Energy Certificate is required as stipulated by law; if no installation has been made or planned, the workshop is exempt.
